A birthday gift for my Sis..

Here's a gift I made for my favourite Sis for her special birthday in March. It is a variation from the two I have made over 6 years and she absolutely loves it.

Here are the other two I made, the first I made is the Blue for myself and the second was made for a Wedding gift for a friend.

My new quilt Peek-a-Boo Farm (Part 1/April) is in the latest issue of Popular Patchwork magazine with Part 2 going into the May issue.
Here's a couple of pics -

I really enjoyed designing and making this interactive quilt with Barn Doors that can be opened by the child to find the Barns with a variety of animals hidden behind the Shutters. Numbers 1 - 10  helps a child to learn, while undoing buttons can help with Fine Motor skills too.

I haven't been here for a while as I've been working on projects but thought I'd jump back in here to add one of my new or old? projects as it was a UFO from 2007-2008. The friends swap was between 7 of us and we each did a Row for the other 6 members using our own chosen design but with their chosen colour/s schemes. Mine has been waiting for 9 years to be brought to completion and with a little nudge from the same group of ladies, I have now completed my own Row-by-Row Quilt which I love and have added the names of those who made the other 6 rows.
