Here is the latest satchel with fabric chosen by a very happy owner. The fabric is a new spring type fabric which is made to order with owners input. She chose a red lining with a black binding picked out of the fabric design.

It's nearly time to go back to work but can't muster any enthusiasm for it.... roll on Bank Holiday..........did get some Spring cleaning done and lots of sewing.

Here is another satchel I finished ..... it's mustard coloured with grey gussets and strap ... so onward and upwards......lots more to do...

What a year so far for the weather.....still very cold here and the news says the cold snap could last until mid-April. But, it doesn't stop the viruses that are doing the rounds. My daughter, hubby and children are all battling with the horrible Norwalk /Novovirus at the moment so my planned trip to see them all is cancelled........

Hi All

I've finally finished my Batik quilt binding so my UFO is now complete thanks to the help of a friend who did fabulous quilting designs on it for me.....   I've also completed a playmate for the 'Tiger Cub' satchel and it's called 'Spot the Leopard' satchel. They've both been snaffled up by people at work so will be going to new homes this week. Here is the 'newbie on the block' -

Hi All
I've recently upgraded to WIN8 and although I had some problems with lost software activation and loss of printer accessibility, I am slowly getting used to it. Software and printer all sorted thanks to relevant companies,  just got to sort out other little things but happy to say that it only took me 35 minutes to locate the SHUT DOWN ....hahahaha! All that aside, I do like the apps and would recommend anyone having a crazy time trying to sort it out, to go onto YouTube and type in WIN8 Tutorial as it beats all the User Manuals.

After weeks of NO sewing, I have managed to make another Satchel today.  I've done a lot of extra cover at work but hope to be able to do more sewing when I finally hand over the 2 x evening classes to a new member of staff this week and get some of my life back again.
